Spring 2025 Course Enrollment Instructions

 

1. Schedule

※ Please note that students who will be in their second year or above in Spring 2025 will be able to register for courses from February 12(Wed) to 18(Tue) and NOT on February 25(Tue).

※ Students are allowed to log-in to the system an hour prior to the course registration during the waiting number system, but not during the mileage system. 

 

2. Spring 2025 semester classes

Classes will be conducted face-to-face, including some blended or non-face-to-face/online classes.

1. Non-face-to-face/online classes are video lectures. However, for courses approved as non-face-to-face classes, such as joint lectures with other universities, real-time online classes can be operated.

2. Students may check the class method on the course catalog at Yonsei Portal. Check the class schedule before enrolling for the class because there may be some changes before the course enrollment.

Offline lecture: Classroom information and class time are specified.

Online lecture(real-time): Classroom marked as "Real-time Online" with class hours specified.

Video Lecture (pre-recordedvideo) : Class hours are specified and classrooms are marked as "video content" or "video (non-overlapable)"

    * Class hours marked as "video content" can be overlapped with other classes

    * Class hours marked as "video (non-overlapable)" cannot be overlapped with other classes


3. Test and Grading

    Even if the class is operated non-face-to-face/online, the mid-term and final exams can be conducted as face-to-face. Please be sure to check the exam schedule, especially for video-content(overlapable) classes, as the midterm and final exam schedule may overlap with other classes and put you at a disadvantage.

The grading will be done as Relative / Absolute / P·NP according to the University & Departmental grading policy. Therefore, make sure to check the course catalog and syllabus for information on how you will be assessed and how exams will be conducted.


4. Students who do not enroll for any courses within the designated period will NOT be able to maintain their status as below. 

‧ Students who do not register for courses at all until the end of the course add-drop period will be treated as general leave of absence.

‧ When a student who has exhausted his/her leave of absence period does not enroll for any courses by the end of the course add-drop period, the student will be dismissed. Students who are in their first semester after freshmen admission, transfer admission, double-majors for graduate candidate and readmission will be dismissed if they do not register for courses by the end of the course add-drop period.
