1. 신청 자격

. 1전공이 승인된 학생이어야 함(휴학생도 신청 가능)

. 3학기부터 졸업 직전 학기까지 신청 가능함(졸업/수료신청자 신청 불가)

. 연계전공/융합전공은 복수로 이수할 수 없으며 승인받은 연계전공/융합전공을 변경하고자 하는 경우, 신청 기간 전까지 취소 신청하여야 변경하고자 하는 연계전공/융합전공으로 재신청 가능

. 취소한 전공은 다시 신청할 수 없음(연계전공/융합전공 최종 취소 기간은 졸업 직전 학기까지임)

. 학사편입, 군위탁편입, 졸업예정복수전공자는 지원할 수 없음

융합전공

지능형반도체융합(소자·공정), 지능형반도체융합(회로·시스템)

 

3. 승인 기준

. 성적(전체 학기 평량평균) 및 학업계획서로 평가

. 3학년 일반 편입생이 첫 학기(5학기 재학 중)에 신청할 경우 이수한 첫 학기 성적으로 평가

 

4. 신청 기간: 2026. 6. 23.() 09:00 ~ 2026. 6. 29.() 17:00

 

5. 신청 방법

. 연세포털서비스(http://portal.yonsei.ac.kr/)에 접속

. [학적] - [학생] - [연계전공/융합전공 신청] - [희망전공 선택]

. 지원동기 및 진로희망, 학업계획서 작성 후 저장

항목별(지원동기, 학업계획) 500~2000자 내외로 작성

신청 기간 중에 신청을 취소할 경우 학업계획서의 내용은 삭제됨

지원하는 캠퍼스 및 전공명을 최종적으로 확인할 것

 

6. 승인 결과 발표: 2026. 7. 24.()

7. 유의사항

. 융복합전공은 졸업 직전 학기까지 신청 가능하나, 졸업 직전 학기에 융복합전공을 신청하는 경우 이수요건 충족을 위하여 초과 학기 이수가 필요할 수 있으므로 이를 감안하여 학업 계획을 세우기 바람(교과과정에 포함되지 않은 유사 교과목으로 대체 인정 불가)

. 전공 승인자는 승인된 전공의 교과과정 및 이수요건을 충분히 확인하여야 하며 이수요건을 충족해야만 졸업(또는 수료)이 가능함

. 전공별 교과과정 및 이수요건은 융복합전공 홈페이지(https://yongei.yonsei.ac.kr/yongei/) 교과과정 및 운영세칙 메뉴 참고

. 캠퍼스내 복수전공과 연계전공(또는 융합전공)을 모두 승인받은 학생들에 한하여 제3전공을 추가로 신청(선택)할 수 있음

. 연계전공/융합전공을 취소(이수 포기)하고자 하는 경우 졸업 또는 수료 심사 직전 학기(졸업/수료 신청 전)까지 연세포털서비스 학적-학생-연계전공/융합전공 취소신청을 통해 취소원을 제출하여야 함

2026 Fall Semester Application Guide for On-Campus Interdisciplinary Studies and Convergence Studies Programs

 

1. Eligibility Requirements

    a. Applicants must have an approved primary major. (Students on a leave of absence are also eligible.)

         b. Applications may be submitted from the third semester through the semester immediately preceding graduation. Students who have already applied for graduation or program completion are not eligible.

          c. Students may not pursue more than one Interdisciplinary Studies or Convergence Studies program simultaneously. Students wishing to change their approved program must first submit a cancellation request before the application period and then reapply for the desired program.

         d. Once a program has been canceled, reapplication to that same program is not permitted. The final deadline for cancellation is the semester immediately preceding graduation.

         e. The following students are not eligible to apply: Academic transfer students, Military-commissioned transfer students, and Double-Majoring for Prospective Graduating Students

Interdisciplinary Studies

Korean Studies, Japanese Studies, East Asian Studies, European Studies, Digital Arts,

Foreign Affairs and Trade Studies, Cognitive Science, Venture Studies, Leadership, Comparative Literature, Cultural Theory and Criticism, Public Leadership Studies

 

Convergence Studies

Devices and Processes for Intelligent Semiconductor Technology, Circuits and Systems for Intelligent Semiconductor Technology

 

3. Selection Criteria

    a. Applicants will be evaluated on the basis of academic performance (cumulative GPA across all completed semesters) and the Study Plan.

    b. 3rd-year transfer students applying during their first semester at Yonsei University (i.e., their 5th semester of enrollment) will be evaluated based solely on their academic performance from that semester.

 

4. Application Period: June 23, 2026 (Tue) 09:00 June 29, 2026 (Mon) 17:00

 

5. How to Apply

a. Log in to Yonsei Portal Service: http://portal.yonsei.ac.kr/

b. Navigate to: Academic Affairs Student Application for Interdisciplinary Studies/Convergence Studies Select Desired Major

c. Complete the Statement of Purpose and Career Goals and the Study Plan, then save.

            Each section (Statement of Purpose and Study Plan) must be approximately 5002,000 characters.

            ※ If an application is canceled during the application period, all content entered in the Study Plan will be deleted.  

            ※ Please confirm the campus and program name before final submission.

 

6. Results Announcement: July 24, 2026 (Fri)

    Results can be checked via: Yonsei Portal Service - Academic Affairs - Student - Application for Interdisciplinary Studies/Convergence Studies

 

7. Important Notes

    a. Students may apply for an Interdisciplinary Major or Convergence Studies program until the semester immediately preceding graduation. However, students who apply in their final semester before graduation may be required to complete additional semesters in order to fulfill the graduation requirements. Students are therefore advised to plan their academic schedule carefully. Substitution with courses not officially listed in the curriculum even if similar in content is not permitted.

         b. Students whose applications are approved must thoroughly review the curriculum and graduation requirements of the approved major. Graduation (or program completion) is contingent upon fulfillment of all required coursework and associated requirements.

         c. For detailed curricula and completion requirements for each major, please refer to the “Curriculum” and “Operational Regulations” sections on the Interdisciplinary Studies/Convergence Studies website:https://yongei.yonsei.ac.kr/yongei/index.do

         d. Only students who have been approved for both an on-campus double major and an Interdisciplinary Studies (or Convergence Studies program) are also eligible to apply for a third major.

         e. Students who wish to cancel or withdraw from their Interdisciplinary Studies/Convergence Studies program must submit a cancellation request through Yonsei Portal Service (Academic Affairs Student Application for withdraw Interdisciplinary Studies/Convergence Studies) before applying for graduation or program completion review.

         f. Almost all courses offered under Interdisciplinary and Convergence Studies programs are taught in Korean. Accordingly, a sufficient level of Korean language proficiency is required to complete these programs.
