The 140th anniversary commemorative emblem symbolizes Yonsei University’s vision and value pursued since the foundation in 1885 to foster innovative leaders who will contribute to the nation and the society based on a community spirit by continuously caking on challenges towards a new future under the banner of truth and freedom.
The eagle, which was dynamically designed using the number 140 and the shape of a wing, expresses the emitting of a new light from Yonsei. The wing in multi-toned blue colors penetrating through the number 1 signifies Yonsei opening up new possibilities for humanity.

Gold, silver, Yonsei Blue or black can be used for single-color application. When brightness level of the background is 50% or higher, the emblem shall be applied in white.

When down-scaling the emblem to 20 mm or smaller, reducing the height of the emblem to less than 10 mm shall be avoided to ensure a consistent image.
